Perhaps it’s a sign of ageing but summer is already a bit of a blur in terms of work. I do know that I broke my number one rule of running a freelance business by turning down a couple of jobs because I'd promised the family that July would be a tools-down month. It was a bit of a risk because it can cut your pipeline of work afterwards as well. But my regular clients were understanding and, where needed, I found a back-up for the job(s) in question.

In recent months, I’ve kept a steady pace of feature-writing for Impact Investor, a new publication by FD Group in the Netherlands covering environment/society/governance (ESG) subjects in finance and investment.
For different clients, I’ve also delivered stories published by EcoAP news (eco-innovation), Ecolabel, and in Euraxess Worldwide's newsletter and corporate clips.

With partners, we've done a couple of consulting jobs including campaign strategies, branding and messaging to promote major events like COP26 and Science is Wonderful.
I've personally reviewed some important reports in a number of fields, from tele-operated driving and artificial intelligence, to trust and security in the next-generation internet.
It’s an eclectic assortment of jobs but Bruscript Media has form in all these subjects, especially research and innovation, technology, impact investing and the ESG nexus.
